The AASD Family Literacy Program recognizes parents as the first and most important teachers of their children. The Program targets both parent and child, but may involve other adult family members as well.
Our Mission
The
primary goal of the Altoona Area School District's Family Literacy
Program is to provide literacy services that are of sufficient
intensity and duration to make sustainable changes
in a family's life.
